GROUNDING (grounding.fyi) is a static, read-only site: there are no user accounts, no logins, no comment forms, and no newsletter signup. This policy describes the little that does happen.
What GROUNDING does not collect
- No account or profile data — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No analytics cookies are set unless you choose to allow Google Analytics. We do not use advertising or personalization cookies.
- No forms collect personal information anywhere on the site.
Analytics
grounding.fyi may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless by design: it does not use client-side state or cross-site identifiers, and reports only aggregate, non-personally-identifying traffic metrics (page views, referrers, approximate geography, performance timing).
With your explicit permission, the site also loads Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and interactions: clicks on links (including our contact call-to-action, outbound links, and links to the MCP server) and use of the on-site search, including the text you type into it. Google may receive the page URL, referrer, device/browser information, approximate location derived from network information, analytics identifiers stored in first-party cookies, and — for search — the search term itself. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization in the site tag. Google Analytics is not loaded when you decline or have not made a choice. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics settings at the bottom of any page; declining after opt-in stops the tag on page reload. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics remains active independently of this choice.
Server logs
Cloudflare, which serves this site, keeps standard operational request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) as part of running the edge network. GROUNDING does not separately collect, store, or analyze these logs.
Third-party links
Daily Briefs, Concept, Topic, and Entity pages link out to their original sources (news articles, papers, company sites). Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
